Fair play and payouts
Skill decides. The record proves it.
Trench Warfare plays for real money, so everything that decides who wins and what they are paid is either done by our game server under the public rules below, or written where anyone can check it. This page explains how, and checks the record in your own browser.
1. The game is fair
- The server is the referee. Every shot, hit, kill, score and match result is worked out on the game server, not in your browser. Your browser only sends what you press; the server decides what happened. It allows for your connection's delay, but only by a fraction of a second.
- Nothing a player sends can award a win. Kills, damage, credits and results are never taken from a browser. Actions that make no sense are refused and logged, and anyone flooding the server is slowed down.
- No pay to win. The token, looks and skins never change health, speed, damage or which guns you can use.
- Random sides. When a match starts the server draws the companies and the teams with secure random numbers. You cannot pick the stronger side.
- Only players count. Bots fill empty places so matches start fast, but a kill only counts for the prize when a person kills a person on the other side. Bots never earn prize kills or give them, so a match against bots cannot be farmed.
- Holders only. Once the token launches, the server reads your wallet's balance from Solana itself when you join. Your browser cannot claim to hold it.
2. Where the prize money is, and how a prize is decided
The prize pool is one public Solana wallet: set when the token launches. The token's trading fees are paid into it in SOL. Its balance and every transaction in and out of it are public on Solana, and the front page lists them live.
- Every official match (every match you join with Play) plays for 5% of the prize pool, after taking out what is already owed to earlier winners.
- When it ends, the winning side splits that prize by kills on other players: your share is your kills on players divided by your whole side's.
- A draw, or a side with no kills on players, wins nothing: the prize stays in the pool for the next match. A winner who played without signing in with a wallet counts in the split, but their share stays in the pool.
Example
The pool holds 120 SOL and 2 SOL is owed to earlier winners, so the match plays for 5% of 118 SOL: 5.9 SOL. Your side wins with 20 kills on players, 8 of them yours, so you are owed 8/20 of 5.9 SOL: 2.36 SOL.
3. Claiming
- Your winnings wait for you. Sign in on the front page with the wallet you played with and press Claim. You must still hold the token when you claim.
- A claim is paid in SOL from the prize pool wallet to that same wallet: it cannot be sent anywhere else.
- The record shows your claim at once, and the payout as soon as its transaction is seen on Solana, with a link to it.
- At first payouts are sent by hand, so one can take a little while. Every claim still waiting is listed here and in the record, for everyone to see.
- Shares are rounded down to 0.0001 SOL; whatever is left over stays in the pool.
Waiting to be paid
- Claims open when the token launches.
4. The public record
Every official match result (who played, the kills that counted, the pool, the prize and each winner's share), every claim and every payout is written to a public record, one entry after another. Nothing in it is ever edited or removed.
- Each entry has a fingerprint: a SHA-256 hash of everything in it. Change a single digit and the fingerprint changes completely.
- Each entry carries the fingerprint of the one before it, so the entries form a chain. Changing or removing any old entry would change its fingerprint and every fingerprint after it. Anyone who kept a copy of the record, or just wrote down the latest fingerprint, would see it.
- Every payout names its Solana transaction, so you can check on Solscan that the money really went to the winner's wallet.
- Money leaving the pool for anything but a claim would show as a transaction out of the public wallet with no claim behind it, for everyone to see.
The whole record is free to download: /api/ledger (JSON, 200 entries a page; add ?from=201 for the next).

6. What you still have to trust
Being straight about it: the game server that referees the matches is ours, and at first payouts are sent by hand from the prize pool wallet. The record makes both checkable after the fact: every result is fingerprinted the moment the match ends, and every payout, or claim still waiting, is there for anyone to see.
Taking part is for adults 18 and over, where it is legal. Nothing here is financial advice. Crypto is risky: only use what you can afford to lose.
